Thought Provoking 3D
OASIS in Ready Player One is a massive, immersive virtual reality world. The author is amazing at describing it and portraying how it is more than just a game. People live, work, learn, and socialize within the OASIS. It’s an escape from reality for many, especially Wade, where escaping from a bleak reality of the real world which has become unbearable and overpopulated.

Inspirations and watch history:
Ready Player one in review:
The way Wade describes the High Schools within OASIS, they are a vibrant and dynamic place. Personalized learning, historical location placement, and (like any other school) a social hub.
His classroom is described to be cathedral-like with polished marble hallways. The book going on to provide that it can be designed to the teachers needs.
Creating and maintaining a virtual classroom can’t be an easy task. Teachers might use pre existing game templates to create basic structures of a classroom or hallway within the school. They would also have to consider it being functional and ensuring accessibility and interaction to all students.
An amazing task, I can only imagine the High-speed connectivity.
Digital 3D Designs
Ive always been a very creative person but I never had the chance to immerse myself in to any kind of art. This degree has opened up a whole new world for me and I realize I have so much to learn. That being said, I can’t pinpoint a favorite 3D design or piece. Ive gotten into the habit of watching videos of artist creating things from a bowl of ramen to a messy bedroom and its satisfying to watch.
I would be lying if I said that I haven’t come across (apparently) popular names being tossed around in forums or social platforms, BEEPLE being one of them. If you haven’t gotten a chance to look at some of his work, you should, they are amazing, beautiful, hilarious, and though provoking all at the same time.
“This artwork reflects the tension between our increasingly fraught relationship with technology and its potential to either heal or harm the planet. The duality between chaos and harmony mirrors the division seen in society, shaped by the reality one chooses to engage with. Through the lens of social media, we are faced with a stark choice: immediate sensory overload (noise) or a broader, long-term perspective (signal). The former presents an overwhelming deluge of data, media, and perspectives, evoking a world seemingly teetering on the edge of collapse…”

I could picture his work “The Tree of Knowledge” within a high school or college in OASIS. This piece is a digitally-programmed sculpture which responds in real time to events around the world the world, with three possible states- signal, noise, and violence (AVANT). Beetle, in this artwork, jumps in the subject of realities we each experience and has you wonder about a better future between humanity, technology, and the environment.
It would an incredibly powerful and thought-provoking piece. Students could analyze how the piece depicts the relationship between technology and human existence. It could be a valuable tool for critical thinking and learning about art history, philosophy, technology, and environmental sciences.
“The Tree of Knowledge” would not only be a visually stunning addition to an OASIS high school or college but a door to meaningful discussions and creative exploration.
