From Dungeon & Dragons to the Digital Age

The unexpected connection between Role-Playing games and Real-World careers. Who would have thought that a game of dice and imagination could prepare you for the demands of the modern workforce? Yet, role-playing games and Dungeons and Dragons have been doing just that for decades.

From what Ive read, Teamwork is one of the core principle of D&D. A successful party relies on the diverse skills and abilities of its members. This dynamic mirrors real world teams. In a successful company, you often find a mix of personalities and skill sets working together toward a common goal.

The Myers-Briggs Type indicator, made D&D characters so easy to map onto these types. By understanding my own personality type and the types of others, I (or players) can better navigate social interactions and work relationships. This can be particularly useful in team settings, where diverse personalities often collide.
