E-Book Design and Publishing
Week 5
This assignment itched that satisfied part of my brain. The amount of organizational options that InDesign offers is nothing short of amazing. These last two assignments have truly opened my eyes. I did this one a little early but I can’t wait to see how the lectures go and the more detailed works of these tools.
Week 4
Creating this handout in Adobe InDesign felt surprisingly smooth, especially when I learned to use the parent pages. I can see how this helps so much for organizational purposes. It can save a ton of repetitive work. I appreciated learning this more in-depth process this week.
Week 3
This assignment was both frustrating and informational. I was able to use this as a refresher and in the process over thought it. Trying to make sure the styles fit together and follow the “rules” of functionality within paragraph styles seemed to be a rather difficult thing. In the end I learned a lot and I am going to continue to practice using these amazing tools.
Week 2
This week was fun. It took me a minute to get back into InDesign but that was a quick fix. It was great to learn about font choice and how important it is for visibility. I needed that reminder, that sometimes pretty isn’t always functional.
I tried to focus on some designing aspects this week because the more I practice the more I learn. So I hope to learn more as we go.
