“Body Glove Addition”
Photoshop

Body Glove Addition is an ad made for my photo editing class. The project was to
create a magazine ad. We were learning about layer management,
Image manipulation, and use of typography. It was an essential piece to
the way I view design.
Vision
Growing up I always had my head in a book or a surf magazine. The photography and the stories always captivated me. Thus, my inspiration, to make this mock up magazine ad. Minimalism was key, but so was learning at the time and I am grateful for that.

“Celestial”
Photoshop

Celestial was my first movie poster made within Photoshop. I was to
create an advanced movie poster that emphasized and stood out. We used
advanced compositing and photo manipulation. Learned about resolution
and printing readiness for larger formats. To tell a story in just one image.
Vision
I really dove into the visual storytelling aspect, to bring out the genre and a little bit of emotion. Stuck to darker tones and designing the poster to spark curiosity (what’s next?). It was a very creative heavy project and it pushed me beyond my usual creative design.

“Adrift”
Photoshop

Adrift made in Photoshop 2024.
This Photo editing class pushed me to find art styles I didn’t even
realized existed. This project was one of them. I was to create a magazine cover
that used space correctly, functional typography, layout, and composition.
I encountered and solved design challenges in this one but it turned out really pretty.
Vision
I went through a lot of different references and what typography works, what doesn’t work, who was going to be my main focus, etc. In the end, I chose a self portrait and it worked. I used it to shape the whole cover and played around with different “story lines” and placements. I really liked how this turned out and I am proud to say my style has changed since this project.
