In this day and age I’ve realized the importance of building a strong online presence. Social Media has become an indispensable tool for connecting with peers, sharing knowledge, and showcasing my work.
Im not a big social media person. That being said, it doesn’t mean I’m not immersed in it.
Instagram has been a great platform for staying connected with family and friends.
It also has become a place to have a strong presence and identifying platforms that align with my goals and target audience. It is a great place for sharing visual content, such as project updates, study tips, and highlights. I haven’t shared any of my works but I can see how this could work in any visually creative line of work.
Linkedin is an invaluable place for professional networking and industry insights. I can see that you are able to join relevant groups, connect with alumni, and share my academic achievements if I wanted to. I hope to build a better connection in this space some time soon.
To ensure my online experience, I want to build off of these platforms and connect them to my WordPress blog. I want this to allow me to share my blog posts directly on platforms like twitter and LinkedIn, expanding my reach and attracting new readers.
Strategically, I see that Im not utilizing social media like I should be. Building a digital presence for my work can enhance my personal brand. I am encouraged after this quarter to embrace the power of social media to connect, learn, and grow. I want a strong online presence and to open doors to exciting opportunities and help achieve my goals.
