If I were a shape, I’d be a hexagon, a form that embodies a sense of order and balance. It is a reflection of my desire for stability and harmony in a world characterized by chaos. The tea green color, #D0F0C0, reinforces the feelings of calm and safety, a soothing presence along the shores of unpredictable tides. The internal, warm lighting suggested an inner strength, a source of resilience that shines even on the brightest of days. A quiet, persistent glow and a beacon of calm.
Reflecting back on my Heros Introduction, it surprised me how much this thought process shaped my creativity for the rest of the quarter. I still relate strongly to this shape and still find it very fitting.
Reflecting on myself as a shape provided the power of visual storytelling. Through this class I have learned so much about myself as a creator. The exercises we were assigned highlighted the power of visual storytelling. Through this class Ive come to better understand how shape, color, texture, setting, lighting, and much more can be used to portray complex emotions and narratives. The ability to create a visual representation of this shape has only strengthened me to translate my thoughts into incredible imagery and designs.
This whole experience has helped me to see the world, and myself, in a more visually nuanced way, allowing for a deeper understanding of the narratives that shape our experiences.
